Zhang Feng:China-U.S. Relations should not be a zero-sum game

2024-12-12

The current international situation is constantly evolving, making mutual understanding and communication between countries increasingly important. In today’s episode, we are joined by Professor Zhang Feng, a senior researcher at the Institute of International and Strategic Studies at Tsinghua University, and a visiting scholar at the Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School. Sharing his views on US-China relations, particularly the diversity of US-China strategic competition, Professor Zhang presents the perspective of viewing US-China competition from a Confucian angle, arguing that competition should be a process of mutual enhancement rather than a zero-sum game.
